Civil engineering and infrastructure services company Marlborough Highways has been awarded an 18-month contract to provide footway improvements with Brent Council.
The contract between the London Borough of Brent and Marlborough Highways is expected to begin at the end of October and is part of a £20 million improvement initiative.
The footways were identified through condition surveys, with input from local councillors, and the improvements will be carefully distributed to make sure as many residents as possible benefit from the investment.
Rob Stranders, Bid Manager at Marlborough commented “We have a history of successfully working on London contracts and we are looking forward to working with Brent Council to improve their footways over the 18 month period.”
Marlborough already serves six London boroughs including the London Borough of Havering and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. They have a 25-year experience in every aspect of traditional and contemporary civil engineering work including surfacing, highway maintenance, road marking, street lighting, infrastructure and traffic management.
