The certificate confirms that the site performed beyond compliance in the following key sections of the schemes Code of Considerate Practice: appearance, community, environment, safety, and workforce. Marlborough Highways are proud to have achieved high scores in these areas, as the 7-month scheme involved a significant amount of work concerning different services within the business during a global pandemic. The project was meticulously conducted to transform Ferry Lane into an exemplar regeneration project for Haringey Council.
Chloe Stevens, Site Visit Coordinator at CCS wrote to Marlborough stating “We would again like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your efforts in improving the image of construction and to thank you for your continued support for the Scheme.”
Marlborough Highways worked with Haringey Council to improve the popular Ferry Lane route for road users, cyclists, and pedestrians to enhance the look and feel of the area. The project included the introduction of a two-way cycle lane, landscaping and planting works, new carriageway markings, parallel crossings, and new lighting columns.
