Marlborough Highways has a long and proud history of employing service leavers and veterans, celebrating the valuable contribution that they have made to our community and wider society. Former military personnel are represented across the business, including front line operatives and senior members of the office-based team. Working with the Career Transition Partnership, we offer those colleagues the support and flexibility they need to flourish in their chosen role, while maintaining their relationship with the Armed Forces.
Armed Forces Covenant
In March 2022 we signed the Armed Forces Covenant as part our commitment to both active and former service personnel. It is a pledge that the company acknowledges and understands that those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the community. In July 2023, our award status increased from Bronze to Silver, and in August 2024 it increased further to Gold, with our team recognised for the increased levels of support that they offer to Reservists, Service Leavers and Veterans.

Events
Marlborough takes part in events and initiatives that seek to further support service leavers and veterans.
