Highway Maintenance Contracts are key to our business. Our clients are primarily based in London and the South-East. Including; the London Borough of Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Camden, Newham, Greenwich, Barnet. We also deliver operations in Southend-on-Sea, Thurrock, Harrow, and throughout wider Essex.

Marlborough provides an in-house, full-service solution for surfacing, road marking, highway maintenance, traffic management, street lighting and infrastructure. With a pool of 500+ multi-skilled people with longstanding established teams of Operatives, Specialists, Foremen, Project Managers, Director, Executives and support staff.

We have a long and successful history of delivering highway maintenance Contracts and we work closely with our clients to ensure that they get the most from their long-term investment. We pride ourselves on our high standard of workmanship and rely on the professional and trusted relationships we have with over 400 local supply chain partners across London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and the South East.

Delivering in Royal Greenwich

Marlborough’s Highways Term Contract in Royal Greenwich has had an excellent start following mobilisation in April 2024. The maintenance and improvements operations in the South London Borough include works to kerbs, footways, and paved areas, as well as road marking services, drainage works, fencing, earthworks, landscaping, and the installation and upkeep of street furniture. Marlborough also attends to emergency call outs, with teams tasked with associated civil engineering works, street cleaning, winter maintenance operations and more.

Marlborough has received strong feedback from the Council, and crews on the ground have been inundated with positive comments from residents. What’s more, the company has employed several operatives who live in Royal Greenwich, with others joining from the surrounding areas, demonstrating Marlborough’s passionate commitment to local employment, as part of a wider social value programme in the community.
