Arrival of seven new trucks to support our Southend Contract

Marlborough Highways are pleased to announce the arrival of seven new trucks to our Southend depot to support our Contract with Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, who recently confirmed plans to spend £10 million in 2021/2022 to improve the borough’s roads and pavements.

The new vehicles will be used to carry out the programme of works for Southend Council which totals 54 roads and 76 pavements.

The vehicles are all equipped with the latest specifications and have the latest engine technology to comply with Euro 6 standards to help improve fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions.
