Marlborough is proud to announce that it has successfully renewed its Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) accreditation for another year, with its status increasing from Standard to Elite.
CHAS is a nationally recognised body that assesses the health and safety policies, procedures, and compliance of contractors in the construction industry. The scheme aims to improve performance in the sector and sets an industry benchmark for excellence.
The Elite accreditation is the most comprehensive programme offered by CHAS, with Marlborough needing to comply with 13 areas of risk management, demonstrating the company’s commitment to the highest standards. The areas of focus include health and safety policy, environmental best practice, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
Matthew Revell, Managing Director of Marlborough Highways said, “At Marlborough, the health and safety of our employees, industry partners, and the wider community is our number one priority. Securing CHAS Elite accreditation is a testament to our ongoing commitment to improving standards, and I am proud of our expert team for their hard work and dedication in achieving this prestigious recognition.”
