We are delighted to announce that Marlborough Highways has been Highly Commended in the Collaboration category at the CIHT Awards, which is the industry benchmark for quality. Andy Brown, Neil Brett and Elen Yuksel represented Marlborough at the awards ceremony at 8 Northumberland Avenue on 13 June 2024.

Our people were recognised for the fantastic work they delivered on Parliament Hill in the London Borough of Camden in partnership with the Greater London Authority, Camden Council, Cadent, Metis, and Morrisons ES. The scheme to install improved subterranean gas piping while simultaneously creating two new rain gardens, was expertly coordinated. It began with Cadent first digging up the road to lay sustainable, non-corroding, 180 mm polyethylene pipes, before our team moved on site to install two 10 metre x 1.8 metre granite kerb rain gardens, where parking bays had been previously situated. By working in synchronisation, costs were lowered, construction emissions were reduced, and disruption to the public was kept to a minimum.
We are proud of all those involved in this outstanding project, the recognition is a testament to their hard work, commitment and dedication to excellence.
