Marlborough Highways is delighted to announce that it has been accredited with the Armed Forces Covenant Silver Award, which demonstrates the company’s commitment to both active and former service personnel.
With a long and proud history of employing members of the Armed Forces Community, Marlborough celebrates the valuable contribution that they make to society. Employees with a military background are represented across the business, including front line operatives and senior members of the office-based team.
As Bronze members of the Armed Forces Covenant scheme since March 2022, the increase to Silver status follows efforts by Marlborough to strengthen its support for the Defence Community. This includes the provision of flexible employment opportunities for Reservists, tailored training programmes for Service Leavers, and the creation of a positive and inclusive working environment for Veterans.
Matthew Revell, Managing Director, Marlborough Highways said “we are proud to be recognised for our commitment to the Defence Community and it is a testament to our team to receive the Armed Forces Covenant Silver Award. We value the skills and experience that Service Leavers, Veterans and Reservists bring to our business, and we are committed to providing them with the support they need to succeed in their careers.”
