Marlborough Highways’ Nuradin Abdulle has won the CIHT East of England‘s 2022 Mike Sharpe Young Professional of the Year Award in the Apprentice category. The award is given to a young person, less than 30 years of age and based in the East of England, who has made a significant contribution to the profession.
The ceremony and dinner dance took place on 1 October 2022 in the heart of Cambridge at the magnificent University Arms Hotel and was an opportunity to recognise the fantastic work of the Highways and Transportation industries in the East. The award was presented by the CIHT President Neil Johnstone and is a testament to Nuradin’s commitment and enthusiasm. Marlborough colleagues had the pleasure of attending the event with a dedicated company table, allowing them to celebrate in Nuradin’s success.
We are proud of Nuradin and are grateful for his hard work. Marlborough offers apprenticeships across a range of disciplines, enabling individuals to further their education, while developing crucial workplace skills. Our apprentices receive all the help and support they need from a highly experienced team, with structured learning, on-the-job training and expert guidance from managers and piers provided throughout.
We would like to congratulate all of this year’s winners and thank the organisers for hosting a wonderful evening.
