Civil engineering and infrastructure services company Marlborough Highways has been awarded an 18-month contract to provide footway improvements with Brent Council.
The contract between the London Borough of Brent and Marlborough Highways is expected to begin at the end of October. It is part of a £20 million improvement initiative.
Condition surveys identified the footways. With input from local councillors, the improvements will be carefully distributed to make sure that as many residents as possible benefit from the investment above all.
Rob Stranders, Bid Manager at Marlborough, commented “We have a history of successfully working on London contracts. We are looking forward to working with Brent Council to improve their footways over the 18 month period.”
Marlborough already serves six London boroughs including; the London Borough of Havering and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Therefore, they have a 25-year experience in every aspect of traditional and contemporary civil engineering work including surfacing, highway maintenance, road marking, street lighting, infrastructure and traffic management.
