Following an extensive auditing process, Marlborough Highways is delighted to announced that it has been awarded the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Silver accreditation across its entire fleet. The news comes after silver awards for the company’s Chelmsford and North London offices earlier this year, with the certification now extended to the organisation’s Rochford and Brentwood depots.
FORS is the industry benchmark for quality, demonstrating best practice in fleet safety, efficiency, and environmental protection. The accreditation is reviewed annually, with Marlborough a member of the scheme since 2021, when it initially acquired Bronze status.
The Silver announcement comes as Marlborough is expanding its fleet, with the company’s Transport team purchasing a significant number of vehicles, allowing it to operate across London and the South East in the safest and most efficient way. Central to this strategy is the investment in sustainable cars, vans and lorries, with the company increasingly opting for electric alternatives as part of its ambitious journey to become Carbon Neutral by the end of 2025.
Marlborough’s Head of Transport & Plant, Matthew Hoiles, said, “Our companywide FORS Silver accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who are committed to excellence in fleet safety and sustainability. We are proud to be recognised in this way, it is a significant achievement.”
