Marlborough Highways is delighted to announce that it has become an accredited Lantra provider. The high-profile organisation has awarded our team with a certificate of approval to offer training in the National Highway Sector Schemes of High Speed Motorways & Dual Carriageways, and Urban & Rural Roads.
Lantra is a leading awards body that develops nationally recognised qualifications for land-based industries that are delivered through a network of training Provider Partners. Marlborough Highways is now one of approximately 50 accredited Lantra centres in the United Kingdom, with certified staff and first-class training facilities. The application process was demanding, with multiple interview stages, an onsite assessment, and a comprehensive review of our policies and training assets. As well as imparting the sector-based knowledge on our own staff in the use of relevant equipment, health and safety, and industry regulations, the new status allows us to impart knowledge on subcontractors and operatives from partner organisations.
Our Lantra programme is led by Guy Sneddon, who is a dedicated in-house Marlborough trainer, he said “I am very proud to be able to help Marlborough grow and to diversify. As an accredited Lantra provider we offer the best training in the business, with a great team of knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. I would like to thank all my colleagues that helped make our bid for Lantra membership successful.”
