Marlborough Highways hosted its third annual Red Star Awards to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Marlborough employees, recognising their dedication, hard work, and embodiment of the organisation’s core values: We know people matter, We are bold, We take pride in everything we do, and We have spirit.
This year’s event was hosted by comedian and “8 Out of 10 Cats” star Rob Beckett, whose humour and charisma delighted an audience of over 200 guests for an unforgettable evening.
Nominations, made by employees for their colleagues, reflected these values and highlighted the passion and expertise that drive the company’s success. This year saw a record-breaking number nominations across a diverse range of categories, spanning Superstar, Most Supportive, Best Manager, Motivator, Excellent Feedback, Keeping Us Safe, Rising Star, and Gang or Team of the Year. There was also a special Director’s Choice Award, with the winner and runner up chosen by the owners, for their commitment to excellence.
