Marlborough Highways are pleased to announce their latest investment in 24 new temporary traffic lights as they continue to grow their traffic management division. The new traffic lights will enable Marlborough to better serve their Term Maintenance Contracts which include the London Boroughs of Haringey, Hackney, Havering, Barking and Southend.
Marlborough’s Services Director Richard Kingsnorth commented “We are very excited about the investment in our traffic management division with the recently upgraded Nissen Traffic and Pedestrian Lights. They are all fitted with a system that enables us to monitor the battery life and this will increase our efficiency when maintaining the lights and help us to continue to deliver the best service for all our clients.”
This latest investment in traffic lights follows on from the commitment announcement late last year. Marlborough committed to invest over £4 million updating its fleet. This includes new; Vogele Pavers, grab lorries, street lighting & road marking lorries. These investments will improve Marlborough’s surfacing, highway maintenance, traffic management, road marking, street lighting and infrastructure divisions as well as enabling Marlborough to take on more Contracts within London and the Home Counties.
