Street Lighting

Marlborough provide street lighting and electrical solutions for our highway maintenance Contracts and other clients in London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and the South East.

We have over 30-years’ experience and in-house capability, resources, and processes to deliver a full-service offering which means, for example, that we can provide street lighting solutions as part of public realms schemes and term maintenance contracts.

Marlborough is both a NERS and HERS accredited organisation, as well as an ESPO framework supplier for Highway Electrical Connections in London. As an official Independent Connection Provider (ICP), we are authorised to connect, transfer, and disconnect live low-voltage cables. This allows us to offer an integrated service for essential infrastructure projects, including for CCTV installation and electric vehicle (EV) charging works.

Christmas Illuminations

Each year Marlborough is proud to support Hackney Council with the installation and maintenance of the borough’s Christmas lights as part of our ongoing partnership. Our Street Lighting team install hundreds of lighting displays across Hackney and do the setup of the iconic Town Hall Christmas tree and its illuminations. Using energy-efficient LED lights, we deliver dazzling scenes, with communities glowing in festive spirit throughout the season.

Banister Housing Estate

During works in 2024 at the Banister housing estate in Homerton in the London Borough of Hackney, Marlborough worked on 76 lights, removing and replacing several installations, helping to improve the look and feel of the location. The enhanced lighting has made the site safer for those accessing the space at night, and is helping to reduce anti-social behaviour.
