Delivering sustainable infrastructure on Ashley Road

In line with Haringey Council’s commitment to revitalise the Tottenham Hale district of North London, Marlborough led a major programme of works on Ashley Road, in partnership with a variety of stakeholders. The 18-month scheme comprised two distinct projects, involving improvements and upgrades to the street’s footways and carriageway, as well as the installation of a complex network of subterranean energy-efficient piping. The works have made the Haringey location more attractive, safer, and more accessible, with the project demonstrating the power of collaboration and expert planning.

Belton Way East cliff stabilisation

Working in partnership with Southend-on-Sea City Council, Marlborough Highways delivered a major project to stabilise the cliffs at Belton Way East in Leigh-on-Sea. As well as carrying out repairs to a retaining wall, which included replacing a significant volume of material, the expert team reduced the slope gradient and improved the space at the top of the feature. The works have created a safe, attractive, and welcoming location for the Southend-on-Sea community to enjoy.

The Colour Way project

The regeneration of the Park View Road underpass and its immediate surroundings represents a significant enhancement to the public realm. Commissioned by Haringey Council, the Colour Way scheme has revitalised the Tottenham site, creating a safer, more welcoming environment for the community to enjoy. Working in partnership with the Council, Marlborough transformed this important pedestrian and cycle route come civic space, ensuring the location now reflects the pride and identity of the local area.
